Joshua A. Willis

Josh Willis joined Webb & Eley as an associate in 2015 after clerking at the firm during his final year of law school. Prior to entering law school, Josh worked in politics and legislative government. Immediately after undergrad, Josh spent two years working for then Alabama State Senator T.D. “Ted” Little, before moving to Washington, D.C. to work for Representative Robert B. Aderholt. Josh’s career has been dedicated to working for the betterment of the State of Alabama and its citizens.

In law school, Josh received best papers in Legal Research and Writing, Constitutional Law, and Environmental Law. He competed with the school’s mock trial and moot court teams and served as executive editor of the school’s law review. Josh’s legal practice has focused mainly on defending counties and the State of Alabama in tax litigation as well as defending sheriffs and sheriff’s deputies in constitutional law claims.

Josh is married and he and his wife are expecting their first child in July. They are members of Church of the Highlands in Montgomery.
